Non-low migration varnishes are designed for applications where migration limits do not apply. These systems focus on performance, durability and cost efficiency, making them ideal for high-volume industrial and graphic applications.
They offer strong mechanical and chemical resistance, excellent rub resistance and broad compatibility with inks, primers and substrates. Non-low migration varnishes are commonly used in commercial print, general packaging and industrial finishing where regulatory constraints are less restrictive.
Low Migration Varnishes
Low migration varnishes are developed for applications where control of substance transfer is essential, such as packaging and printed materials intended for indirect food contact. These systems are formulated using carefully selected raw materials and controlled manufacturing processes to help reduce migration risks while maintaining production efficiency.
RBC Products low migration varnishes are developed in line with EU Regulation 1935/2004, which defines requirements for materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. In addition, production follows Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles to ensure consistency, traceability and process control.
